26 August 2005 – There was probably a sense of excitement, anticipation as well as worry for the participants as each who have not attended the camp before will be in their own world of imagination of what it will be like. If only they knew how much they will learn about the guitar and in the process thoroughly enjoy themselves knowing new friends, such anticipation and worry was pointless.
Nevertheless, bright and early they were waiting at Amada Hotel’s parking lot in Petaling Jaya. When everyone was present the Committee boarded everyone onto the bus and we were on our way…
There was an air of a festival around our concerts as there were 6 performers giving their best. These performers was performing for the first time here in our camp and they were ner…vous! There are not many performing opportunities in Malaysia especially for a specialist group like the Classical Guitar more so with the onslaught of commercial/popular music that does not need promotion!
27 August 2005 – The second day was more of a learning day as opposed to a listening first day. The morning session was divided into masterclasses for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
After the masterclasses, the ensemble practice session starts… Practice? Hey we practice all the time – whenever we are free and anywhere…
5 p.m. 27 August 2005 Participants Solo Concert – I am ner…vous!!! Can I chicken out? Well, none ‘chickened out’ as our President was persuasive enough… ‘There is no way to learn performing unless you perform!’ says Simon.

This year is really a great year for the society, as we were interviewed by Harian Metro on 15 June 2005 and appeared on TV3’s Malaysia Hari Ini on 28 June 2005 without asking for it.
