Taking a break at the foot of Fraser's Hill after a two hours journey.
Billy Ng and Seow Koi Keong organizing the participants upon arrival. Upon arrival at Fraser's Hill, organizing participants for a 'get to know you' session. Enjoying the game. They are getting to know each other, aren't they?

You can see how much fun they are having.
The stage for the night's open air concert at Fraser's Hill town center. A public concert by the members of the Society. Sitting around waiting for the concert to start. Notice Seow Koi Keong with my video camera... Look at JD perched on the ledge, camera hung round his neck...

Low Yee Chee, Jaime Ng, Ernest Thomas, Lee Kok Hong, Yyonne Yeoh & Chew Chin Huat.

Yyonne with her solo. There were solos by Chin Huat & Kok Hong as well as Ernest teaming up with Chin Huat for a violin & guitar duet.

After the concert.

Early next morning, it's warm up time! Billy organizes everyone for 'fingerobics'

We had just over a hundred participants. From Alor Setar up north to down south Johore and even Singapore.

Our Singaporean participant in John Duarte's masterclass.

I'm scared, my heart is pumping away

TS Lim getting himself ready for his individual class with John Duarte

Look at that messy room! What a place for individual classes...any complains? Learning takes place anywhere and anyhow.

As JD takes on the individual classes, Simon takes on a workshop.

In the nice cool night air of Fraser's Hill, listening to Jack giving a talk is interesting and refreshing as well as enthralling for the campers.

After the talk by JD, it was jam session time. We had a surprise visit (gate-crashed!?) from Thomas Liauw of Singapore... he obligingly played.

JD playing for us too, which had the campers all excited.

Next morning was the campers' concert.

Playing in ensemble is very necessary for bringing people together.

We have them in duos, trios, quartets and all combinations.

Here's a large group of eight.

After the morning concert, it is lucky draw. Simon giving out the lucky draw. Notice the guitars behind - they are prizes.

Here's a lucky winner. He won a metronome.

Another lucky chap! Prizes were sponsored by music shops.
