An international classical guitarist in Thailand , Nutavut Ratanakarn has been giving concerts, and master classes in Austria , England , Italy , Israel , Japan , Korea , Liechtenstein , Malaysia , Mexico , Russia and Thailand . He given concert , masterclass and jury member of many international guitar festival, including Moisycos International Guitar Festival (Italy),Kasetsart Guitar Festival, Bangkok International Guitar Festival ,Thailand International Guitar Festival, Magnitogorsk Festival( Russia),Guitar Gems International Classical Guitar Festival & Competition(Israel),Malaysia International Guitar Festival(Malaysia)Festival Internacional y Concurso Nacional de Guitarra "Ramon Noble"(Mexico).He is currently the director of Bangkok International Guitar Festival, Thailand International Guitar Festival and president of Bangkok Guitar Society. He was a prize winner in Thailand International Guitar Competition 2003, Thailand Classical Guitar Competition1999 , and Thailand Yamaha Competition 1998 and1999. He has 4 records, "the Art of Spain", "Guitar Recital", "The Rhythm of Love' audio CD, and "Live concert inKorea" DVD Video by Alma Guitar.

He graduated with first-class honor from Kasetsart University majoring in Classical Guitar Performance. He also received diploma from "Ligita"( Liechtenstein ) and "Wien 2004". He participated in master classes with Alvaro Pierri, Eduarado Fernandez, Costas Cotsiolis, Paulo Bellinati, PavelSteidl, Konrad Ragossnig, William Bower, Phillipe Villa, Jorgos Panetsos,Alessio Monti, Jury Clormann, Gareth Koch, Tomas Offermann, and Jozef Zsapka. He began his formal guitar lesson at 17. His principle teachers are Santi Sequerkawe,Tawee Maneecharuthat, Vidhaya Vosbein, Kamol Adshariyasart, and LeonKoudelak.

Alessio Monti (Italy)

Alessio Monti, guitarist and composer, began his first musical experiences in 1966, playing electric guitar in some famous pop italian groups and writing many songs against the war. Some years later, after his “rock experience”, he started to study classical guitar, and in 1983 he completed his formal studies in music at the L. Cherubini Conservatory of Florence obtaining the diploma with the highest marks and honour.

Extensive touring of the Orient has greatly influenced Alessio's style and his research of Eastern philosophy leaves an indelible mark on the composer's consciousness and music explorations.

His style is extremely innovative and will be of great interest to lovers of many genres, from minimalist to jazz, to Eastern and Western classical traditions.

Alessio has truly penetrated a creative space within himself that re-frames what can be done with guitar.

He is involved in intense artistic activity, participating in the most noteworthy international orchestras and festivals throughout Europe Asia, Africa, the Americas, with rave reviews from audience and press alike.

He has given Masterclasses at "Escuela Universitaria de Musica" (Montevideo), "Conservatorio A. Barrios" (Asuncion), "National Conservatory" (Nairobi), "Univerditade" (Rio de Janeiro), "India International Center" (New Delhi), "Hofstra University" (New York), "Conservatorio Nacional" (Santiago del Cile), "Bangkok Guitar Society", Bangkok, "Colegio Internacional Raimondi?", Lima (Peru). Cherubini Conservatore, Florence (Italy), Silipakorn University, Bangkok, Multimedia Hall Jakarta.

He has been invited to live record for many Radio and Television broadcasting in many countries.

Alessio's ingenuity has him in high demand for teaching master classes, workshops and conferences abroad and in his native Italy.

The compositions on all 17 Alessio's CDs, feature sitar, flute, clarinet, soprano sax, violin viola, violoncello, contrabass, percussion and electronic devices as well as solo guitar.

His biography with some of his works and his recording are now included in the “Encyclopaedia of the contemporary composers”, edited in Italy by Pagano Editor

Now he is working to put background music on the italian translation of “Bhagavad Gita”, the holy Hindu book that will be published in three Cd (acting and music) by “Esotheric Librairy” in Milan, Italy.

 

Kuala Lumpur Guitar Ensemble II (Malaysia)

Kuala Lumpur Guitar Ensemble II was formed by Simon Cheong. Since its formation, the ensemble in 2005 was interviewed on Malaysia Hari Ini, a TV3 programme, and performed at a wedding function that was graced by Datuk Seri Abdullah Badawi, the Prime Minister of Malaysia and his Deputy, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak. The Ensemble had earlier given their inaugural performance at the 2004 Guitar Camp organized by the Classical Guitar Society of Malaysia.

In July 2006, KLGE II was invited to perform at the Ordu International Guitar Festival, Turkey. At this festival, KLGE II gave two performances and was interviewed live on ORT (Ordu Radio & Television Station). On December 3, the ensemble gave their Malaysian debut in 'An Evening with the Classical Guitar'. In the concert 'Tanah Pusaka' organized by the Classical Guitar Society Malaysia on the 21st of November 2007, the ensemble premiered Tanah Pusaka, a popular Malaysian tune.

In November 2008, John Duarte's Variation on Gubahanku op 124 was given a world premiere by Simon in the concert entitled 'Gubahanku'. The piece was written in 1996 together with Variations on Getaran Jiwa op 125 which had its world premiere in 1996. KLGE II will also premiere Putra Putri and Mak Inang.

From February 1 - 7, 2009 KLGE II performed in Serbia (Beograd, Nish and Novi Sad) with concerts and Radio and Television appearances.

Kuala Lumpur Guitar Ensemble II is made up of Ernest Thomas, Ong Peng Yang, See Sew Hong and Simon Cheong.

 

Worakarn Saengsomboon (Thailand)

เริ่มเรียนกีตาร์คลาสสิคเมื่ออายุ 12 ปี กับ อ.มนูญ พลอยประดับ ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศการแข่งขัน Yamaha Guitar Festival ในปี 1996-1998 ใน 3  ปีติดต่อกัน  
จบการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาตรีจากมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ คณะมนุษย์ศาสตร์ ภาควิชาศิลปนิเทศ สาขาดนตรีตะวันตก ด้วยคะแนนเกียรตินิยมอันดับ 2 โดยเรียนกีตาร์กับ อ. วิทยา วอสเบียน

สำเร็จการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาโทสาขา เอกการแสดงจาก วิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์   โดยเรียนกับ อ. Phillipe Villa วรกานต์ เคยมีโอกาสเข้าร่วม Workshop กับนักกีตาร์ระดับโลกเช่น Eduardo Fernandez,Paulo Bellinati และ Pavel Steidl เป็นต้น   ปัจจุบัน วรกานต์เป็นอาจารย์สอนวิชาเอกกีตาร์คลาสสิกที่ มหาวิทยศิลปากร และวิิทยาลัยดุริยางคศิลป์   มหิดลนอกจากนี้ยังเปิดการแสดงเดี่ยวกีตาร์อีกมากมายในประเทศไทย

 

Pongpat Pongpradit (Thailand)

Pongpat graduated from the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University and received a B. Mus with second class honors in Classical Guitar Major where he studied guitar with Prof. Vithaya Vosbein and in a Master's degree at the College of Music, Mahidol University in Music Performance Major (Classical Guitar) studied guitar with Prof. Suvich Klinsmit. Pongpat regularly perform in Intercontinental Hotel (sukumvit Rd.), record for TV. Advertising and film score "Secret" directed and perform by Jay Shou.

Now he is the member of Meastro Music School and the part-time teacher at the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University.

 

Chavaged Madsakulrat (Thailand)

ชวเจตน์เริ่มศึกษาดนตรีครั้งแรกเมื่ออายุ 8 ปี ที่โรงเรียนดนตรีสยามกลการ และเริ่มเรียนกีตาร์คลาสสิคเมื่ออายุ 14 ปี ศึกษากับอาจารย์ทวี มณีจารุทรรศน์ จบการศึกษาชั้นมัธยมจากโรงเรียนวัดสุทธิวราราม จากนั้นได้เข้าศึกษาต่อที่ภาควิชาดนตรีศึกษา คณะครุศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยเรียนกับอาจารย์กมล อัจฉริยศาสตร์ และอาจารย์วิทยา วอสเบียน ได้รับรางวัลรองชนะเลิศในการแข่งขัน Yamaha Guitar Festival 1997 และ 2001 ได้รับ Guitar Certificate (Grade 8) with merit จาก Trinity College of Music ในระหว่างที่กำลังศึกษาที่จุฬาลงกรณ์ มหาวิทยาลัย ชวเจตน์ได้มีโอกาสแสดงเดี่ยว Concierto de Aranjuez ร่วมกับวงครุศาสตร์ซิมโฟนีออร์เคสตร้าในครุศาสตร์คอนเสิร์ตครั้งที่ 24 และ อำนวยเพลงให้กับวงครุศาสตร์ซิมโฟนีออร์เคสตร้าในครุศาสตร์ครั้งที่ 25 โดยศึกษาวิชาการอำนวยเพลงจาก ผศ . พันเอก (พิเศษ) ชูชาติ พิทักษากร นอกจากนั้นยังมีโอกาสได้แสดงเดี่ยวร่วมกับวง Siam Philharmonic Orchestra ในงาน Queen Sirikit Concerto Gala Dinner

ในปี 2002 ได้เดินทางไปเข้าร่วมงาน 3 rd International Guitar Festival ณ ประเทศสิงคโปร์ , 2004 Lichtensteine Guitar Festival ประเทศลิคเทนสไตน์ และ 2005 Forum Gitarre Wien ประเทศออสเตรีย ได้มีโอกาสเข้าร่วม Masterclass กับนักกีตาร์ระดับโลกหลายท่านเช่น Alvaro Pierri, Michael Troster, David Tanenbaum, Shin-ichi Fukuda, Marcin Dylla และ Zoran Dukic และเข้าร่วม Workshop กับ Manuel Barrueco

 

Grigory Novikov (Russia)

Grigory Novikov was born 1979 in Kirov (Russia). He started to learn to play the guitar at the age of 16 with the professor Vera Tataurova in Kirov.

Between 1997- 2006 he was studying at the Music College in Kirov and N.Novgorod in guitar class of professor by Vladimir Mit'akov. Grigory continued his education in Conservatory in N.Novgorod (Russia). He took Master Classes and Stages with Carlo Marchione, Gabriel Guillen, Hugo Geller, Aniello Desiderio, Marcin Dylla, Philippe Villa and Alvaro Pierri. In his hometown he is a teacher in Music School for Talented Children, Kirov and Arzamas Music Colleges. Since 2006, he is working in team for the Kuznecov's International Guitar Festival in Magnitogorsk (Russia).

He has played in a several important musical events, like International Guitar Festivals or Halls:Guitar Festival in ILe de Re (France), Russian Style (N.Novgorod, Russia), Fonsegrives and St.Marcel (France), Kuznecov's Guitar Festival in Magnitogorsk (Russia), Thai-German Cultural Foundation (Thailand), Perigord (France), International Festival of Chamber music (Germany), International Guitar Festivail in Cassino (Italy), Kirov's Museum of Art (Russia), International Guitar Festival in Bangkok (Thailand) and others places.

Grigory plays with guitar by Zbigniew Gnatek (Australia) model Cedar - Rio Brazilian Rose wood (summer 2008). Several composers have dedicated works to him: R.Falik (France) and S.Arbiol (France)
