This is the third time we are meeting in Olsztyn. The guitar will be our best companion every day. We have prepared a number of concerts with the partaking of the participants of the course as well as stars of the world guitar stage. We will enjoy masters’ tutorials, lectures, presentations, souvenirs to be drawn during evening concerts, and some free time too. We have arranged a one-day trip round Mazury district, which every year attracts the most demanding tourists with its charm.

We have won a large group of sponsors. We have also gained the local authorities’ favour, which enabled us to offer you a very affordable course fee. At our disposal we will have all the extensive facilities of the State Music School which will make it possible to do unlimited educational and concert activities.

We also believe that the contest struggles will give all of us best, unforgettable impressions.

I GROUP born after 1990; freely chosen program, time limit: up to 10min.

II GROUP born after 1984; freely chosen program, time limit:10-14min.

III GROUP no limit age freely chosen program, time limit:12-16min.

IV GROUP /guitar ensembles/; freely chosen program, time limit: up to 10min.

RULES OF COMPETITION

1. The competitors will be judged by the international jury. The decisions
of the jury are irrevocable. The jury has the right to award the prizes at
their choice.
2. All the competitors will obtain certificates and the winners will be
awarded valuable prizes.
3. A special prize of the Competition, Grand Prix of 3000 PLN, is provided for.
4. The total program in the solo group (I, II, III) should be performed
from memory (does not concern group IV).
5.Ensembles with only the guitars, beginning with duos, participate in group IV.
6. THE REGISTRATION FEE /60PLN/ cannot be refunded. The APPLICATION FORM and a the copy of the payment receipt should be sent to organizing office before 22.06.2006 with the following note: 'WPISOWE-KONKURS GITAROWY'.
7. In the case of participating in two competition groups the registration
fee is only paid once.
8. All the participants of the Course are exempt from the registration fee
of the Competition.
9. All the detailed information will be transferred to the participants
by 05.07.2006.

10. The Organizers provide accommodation and meals (45PLN) for a payment. Reservation
should be made by 12.07.2006
