The objects for which the Society is established are:-
To promote and popularize the Classical & Flamenco Guitar;
To promote greater understanding and appreciation of guitar music in particular that which is composed, transcribed or arranged for the Classical & Flamenco Guitar;
To organize and stage guitar concerts, competitions, camps, festivals or any other form of public or private performances;
To raise the standard of teaching the Classical & Flamenco Guitar;
To organize lectures, workshops or classes;
To liaise with other musical societies;
To establish a library of audio/audio visual records, printed music, publications and any information pertaining to the Classical and Flamenco Guitar;
To promote the development and /or the production of the Classical and Flamenco Guitars in Malaysia; and
To issue or publish periodicals or newsletters concerning all matters related to the Classical and Flamenco Guitars subject to the Authorities concerned.
